**NEWS FLASH** Vonnie Lopez signs on to become the Spokesperson for the charitable organization, Jordan International Aid. This organization has proven to be a huge success in feeding the hungry of our world, setting up orphanages for the lost children, setting up schools for the children of the street. The founder of the organization, Jesse Mendoza is working from the base camp in the San Jose, California area and doing an incredible job organizing the missions. Winter Wonderland was a huge success!! Special guests included: Nakitta Clegg (Kurt Carr Singers) and the Shane Clifton Blue Grass Band. What a wonderful night of celebration and music!! If you missed it this year, you will want to make plans now to attend in 2007!!

In March of 2005, Aaron and Vonnie, A.J. and Lindsey re-located to Lake Charles, Louisiana. They have been working along-side Vonnie's father, Pastor Murrell Ewing, at the Eastwood Pentecostal Church. It hardly seems like a full year has passed since their relocation, but it has. This month, we celebrate one year of the Lopez family's ministry at Eastwood Pentecostal Church.

Hurricane Katrina rocks the Louisiana coastline and all surrounding areas....Vonnie Lopez and the Eastwood Pentecostal Church was fully involved in providing assistance to the hurricane victims. Every day for weeks, they worked tirelessly for sometimes more than 12 hours a day to provide food and shelter, clothing and necessities to these helpless victims. Right in the midst of caring for their neighbors from New Orleans, suddenly another hurricane comes along...Hurricane Rita. This hurricane hit the city of Lake Charles!!! Severe damage and loss was suffered by the city and the church. The city was closed for almost one month...with no water supply or electricity. But Lake Charles and Eastwood will survive!!! Please keep our entire state in your prayers.
