Anyone know what the greatest commandment in the Bible is? Anyone know which fruit of the spirit provides me with the title “HIS disciple”? LOVE…plain and simple…LOVE!!

Unfortunately for our generations and our world in general, the term “love” has been misused, its meaning skewed and distorted. But the love that Jesus referred to cannot be captured by a movie producer in a scene between two actors who just met days before production began. That is called the “illusion” of love. But Hollywood has so captured our imagination and has made us want to believe that is the picture of love.

But love is so much more!! Love is not just a word…love is a deed. Love is not just a song…love is movement. Love is not just a feeling…love is action.

I truly want to be listed among the elite called “HIS disciples”. But the only way my name will ever make that list is if I am willing to do more than SAY I love Him, do more than SING I love Him, do more than just FEEL I love Him. I must put actions behind those words and feelings, or they become useless.

Jesus said if we do this unto the least of them, we have done it unto Him. So…WHAT CAN I DO??

I get letters everyday from men, women, youth…all across our nation. The letter say, “I have a passion…I want to make a difference…What can I do…Where do I start”. Until now, the answer to that question has not been so clear. Until this very season, when one young man got up out of his lounge chair and decided to do more than just say he loved Jesus. Now, because of Minister Jesse Mendoza and Jordan International Aid, we now have our very own organization that we can pour our passion into. We can trust the vision and ethics and know our energies and dollars are moving in the right direction.

For all of you who have watched the media moguls, celebrities, and other Christian organizations feed the hungry, love the children, care for the needy, and make a difference in someone else’s life and said to yourself, “I would love to do something like that”…FINALLY, here is your opportunity.

There is a place for everyone: Volunteers, financial partners, corporate partners, prayer partners…the list goes on. But I urge you in the strongest way I can - JUST DO SOMETHING!! Don’ t let love remain “just a word” any longer. Put love into action.

How can I pretend that you’re not hurting
How can I pretend that you’re ok
When I look in your eyes
I can’t lie to myself

How can I pretend that you don’t need HIM
How can I pretend that someone else will tell you
When I close my eyes
I can’t lie to myself

I don’t know about you…but I can not pretend any longer. As a disciple of Jesus, it is my duty, my responsibility, my calling to LOVE them.

I MUST GO!!
